From EPEC Team Newsletter:
Merry Christmas from EPEC Team — to our growing list of subscribers, generous supporters, and trusted advisors! And most of all, Merry Christmas to all the volunteers we are proud to join in driving election security and trusted results across Virginia and the nation.
As we look back and index an extraordinary year of results — and take stock of the critical work ahead — EPEC Team wishes you and yours all the blessings of this season of light, faith, and grace in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
We also extend warm holiday greetings to readers, partners, and supporters in the Jewish faith on this first night of Hanukkah, the festival of lights that honors miracles in defense of the Jewish faith. It begins at sundown on Dec. 25th, the first time in 20 years that Christmas and Hanukkah have aligned on the same day.
One is more likely to find the data-driven team at EPEC joking about whether Die Hard is a Christmas or Hanukkah movie — and having a laugh about the volumes of memes on the topic circulating on social media — than discussing matters of faith.
The symbolism of the aligned religious holidays this year is worth noting.
Election integrity draws many committed citizens from all walks of life, interests and backgrounds who unite around a shared goal: driving faith in elections by giving voice to transparency in voter-list management, and how elections are run.
Our common thread is a commitment to principles that under-gird our Republic: accurate elections so we may protect the blessings of liberty, especially our First Amendment freedom of speech and religion, and all the Bill of Rights.
As we enjoy the magic of the season, EPEC Team volunteers send best wishes to you and tidings of even more extraordinary results together in 2025.
