Virginia’s 45-day voting marathon kicked off on Friday, Sept. 19, with early in-person voting and absentee by mail in the gubernatorial election, which concludes on Nov. 4th, 2025.
All 100 House Delegate seats are up for election, too, which will decide which party holds the majority in Richmond’s assembly.
According to early data from the Daily Absentee List (DAL) from the Department of Elections, just over 419,000 absentee ballots have been requested for this election.
