VA Dept. of Elections: Processes for Voters Who May Have Moved / Voter Challenges

Virginia Dept. of Elections' official advisory of July 23, 2024 about 'increased requests from third parties' about inaccurate voter list data.

Virginia Dept. of Elections issued an “Official ELECT Advisory” on July 23, 2024:

“As the 2024 November Election approaches, general registrars have seen increased requests from third parties regarding the
potential removal of registered voters.

“As it pertains to voter registration cancellations for individuals that may have moved or may be registered to vote in another
state, or for individuals whose registration is being challenged by qualified voters, there are specific statutory provisions that must be followed before a cancellation can be made.”
